It is clear that there is not much information on clipart as a whole. However images have clearly started off in Bitmaps and then in vectors going through google images and seeing this visually.
The second issue is the spread of the internet and how has this impacted the use of clipart?
Well quite obviously that all clipart has developed whether good or bad or very bad (in some casses) ; by the transformation of World Wide Web. this has made clipart not just accessible from 'crappy' publisher or 'clickart' from Macintosh but for all users to download when and where they want there Clipart.
This has one main issue. That all business that use Clipart assume that this is 'ok' design.
This is not ok!! It does not bother me that Clipart is 'cheating' but it bothers me that there 'ok' with looking at Clipart and calling that design. barrr humbug!
